Six Flags Over Georgia
It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Six Flags Over Georgia is continuing its new holiday tradition as it extends its season with the addition of Six Flags Entertainment’s annual holiday festival — Holiday in the Park. More than one million LED lights and dozens of Christmas trees will create the perfect magical atmosphere this holiday season from November 18 through January 3 on select days. The holiday classic will include sparkling lights, festive shows, tasty culinary treats and of course, the Big Man: Santa Claus in all his glory.

Guests can enjoy the park’s most popular rides including Goliath, as well as rides for the entire family to enjoy. Holiday in the Park will be topped off with its most iconic image at the historic Riverview Carousel, which will create a glowing light and walkthrough experience never before seen in Atlanta and the Southeast region.

New in 2017 - Metropolis Park
Holiday in the Park expands to the new Metropolis Park for 2017, with JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis and SUPERMAN: Ultimate Flight open. Metropolis Park will be decorated in holiday decor, as well.

A Main Street Christmas
Step through the front gates and witness the magnificent beauty that is Holiday in the Park! Six Flags Over Georgia’s iconic Promenade has transformed into A Main Street Christmas decorated with more than 100,000 lights! Along with an ensemble of ornamented garlands, snow machines, and a 20 foot Christmas tree in front of the main gate fountain, it creates a beautiful spectacle and a truly magical way to begin your happy holiday experience at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Peppermint Plaza
As you walk through the Peppermint Plaza by the Georgia Scorcher, a whiff of minty delight will begin to surround you. The further you walk inside this area of holiday delight, the more you immerse yourself into an aroma of peppermint and beautiful red and white lights. It is a true candy and winter wonderland!

Top Winter Travel Destinations
Caribbean Resorts

After this year’s devastating hurricane season, resorts in the Caribbean are busy rebuilding and anticipate being open in time for the peak holiday and winter season. With beautiful beaches, tropical rainforests, and an abundance of duty-free shopping, Caribbean destinations still top the list for winter travel. And we expect to see some great bargains later this fall as resorts begin to reopen.

Wellness Retreats
A great destination featuring spa and wellness travel is Riviera Maya, near Cancun, home to the premier adults-only resort, Unico. This all-new, all-inclusive retreat features five distinctly themed restaurants, five-star luxury accommodations, and unlimited complimentary spa services and excursions. Go ahead! Visit a Mayan ruin, book a facial and massage, and indulge in all the opulence the Riviera Maya has to offer; it’s all included in your room rate!

If you’d like to be even closer to nature, the Belmond Maroma is the perfect alternative. Located between 200 acres of lush landscape and the shimmering Caribbean Sea, this resort dazzles with color and life. Here guests can take part in ancient Mayan healing rituals, infusing the skin with natural herbs or enjoy a warm and relaxing water massage.

2018 Winter Olympics
If traveling to see the Olympics is on your wish list, the 2018 Winter Olympics are being held in PyeongChang, South Korea from February 9-25. Located in the Taebaek Mountains, it is a beautiful resort area featuring world-class skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. South Korea has invested billions in infrastructure in anticipation of the games, including a new high-speed rail line from PyeongChang to Seoul, the capital of South Korea. While the Olympics may be the main event, there is much to see and do in Seoul, too. This modern and vibrant city of nearly 10 million people is the cultural, political, and economic heart of South Korea. No trip to Seoul is complete without visiting the Gwangjang Market, Seoul’s largest food alley with more than 200 vendors, and the Bukchon Hanok Village, home to 900 hanok, or traditional Korean homes.

As always, if we can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at (770) 261-8605.

Happy Travels!
